Throughout 2007 we stepped up our efforts to listen to what matters most to healthcare professionals and their patients.

A focus on patient care

In healthcare, perhaps more than any other sector, providers of product and services must be totally focused on what matters to their customers. The quality of life for patients depends on it, as does the ability for healthcare organisations to work efficiently and professionally.

So although at Gambro we began a new era of focusing on our customers' needs in 2006, we decided to go further. That's why in 2007 we undertook widespread consultation among the renal care sector.

Listening every day

By meeting with doctors, nurses, technicians and patients we started to build up a more detailed picture of what is required from a renal care provider. To further increase our understanding we carried out customer satisfaction surveys and gathered ad hoc feedback across the healthcare sector.

This consultation rang alongside the existing partnership between Gambro and the renal care community that enables us to always stay in tune with your needs and expectations. The valuable lessons learned have paved the way for Gambro DNA.
